What is LOL, and What Does it Stand for?

What is LOL? That questions seems to keep coming up to all new users of the "text message/instant messaging" world. The people who really want to know are the parents and caregivers of the teenagers that seemingly live on an electronic device nowadays.

So, what does LOL stand for? It stands for "laugh out loud". You use it in response to a phrase, or joke, or story someone tells you over your instant message, text message, email, or other communication method. What's ironic is that people who respond, or write, "laugh out loud" almost never really laugh when reading or writing it. Maybe a smile at the most. Go figure. So there you have it.

I Really Hate My Life Sometimes

Hello, My Internet Journal Online Readers.

I really hate my life sometimes. Why is life so hard? Almost nothing comes easy, nothing. And they always say, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." But what the hell, how strong does a person need to be?

I wonder if those perfect people say that about their situations. Life is beautiful, you just have to find the positive. Everything happens for a reason. You know, those people.

Sometimes things happen just because. And most of those occurrences happen to people that already have enough stuff to deal with. You know what I'm saying.

You just get tired sometimes. I just want to take a break from being me, just for a day. Is that too much to ask? Of course it is. Boy, I really hate my life sometimes.
